Compassion in Action: Helix A-Level Students Visit Yangon General Hospital
Today, the A-Level students of Helix International School embarked on a meaningful journey of giving back as part of their Community Service Activity at Yangon General Hospital.
This visit offered our students more than just a glimpse into the healthcare system; it provided a profound opportunity to witness the resilience of patients and cultivate a deep sense of empathy. Guided by kindness and a spirit of service, the students organized and personally distributed lunch boxes to patients, sharing smiles and nourishment with those in need. 🍱✨
💡 Why This Matters
At Helix, we believe that education extends far beyond textbooks. Seeing our students engage so enthusiastically with the community reflects our school’s core values:
Empathy: Understanding the lives and challenges of others.
Service: Taking proactive steps to help the community.
Leadership: Setting an example of kindness for their peers.
The joy and fulfillment gained from today’s experience will undoubtedly serve as a foundation for these students to become compassionate, socially responsible leaders of tomorrow.
